I'm BACK!!!

YES!! Finally, after a 1.5 year hiatus, mum has finally been able to upload a photo and create a posting. Due to some technical difficulties, my blog had been suspended and mum was unable to do anything. But now, I'm back! Yippppeeee Yay!! This is just wonderful, so many stories to share, so many things to update.

But I'll just begin by posting some pictures of me when I went on my most recent backpacking trip with Mum and Dad and some friends. We went deep into the Cascades.

Where: Marmot Lake, Alpine Lakes Wilderness
Hike Trails No: 1066, 1376
Map: Green Trails No 176, Stevens Pass

When: 15th - 16th Sept 07 (Sat and Sun) Overnight trip

Distance: 17 miles roundtrip
High Point: 4930 feet
Elevation Gain: 2400 feet
Difficulty: Moderate
Hyas Lake

Mum and me playing at Marmot Lake. Posh is watching attentively, trying to steal the stick. If you notice something odd about my body, such as stripes running along my back, that's because Mum handstripped me. She had to stop halfway because she was whining of pain from blisters on her palm, so I had to go out in public looking very strange.

Posh is wonderful at swimming. Here I'm watching her retrieve a stick after Mum threw it far away. Posh belongs to a lady friend who came along with us for the overnight backpacking trip. Post is much older than me, but she can sure swim. I haven't yet mastered the art of swimming, and I wonder if I ever will. Mum is a wuss, she says she doesn't want to get into the freezing Northwest waters to teach me.
Dad rigs up my backpack on our return journey from Marmot Lake. I'm very good at carrying my own stuff in my own blue RuffWear backpack. I use a medium.
Me, Dad and his friend Eric hiking down the mountain at about 4500ft. All the boys in blue. I have a bald patch on my right forearm, because about 2 months ago, I became very ill with an absess growing in my mouth. No one could say how I got it, it could have been a stick I chewed, a rock, a seed, who knows? It was at the back of the throat, and it got infected and I was so sick, Dad had to bring me to the emergency vet, and they had to put me under, and flush the sucker out. The silly vet tech shaved off almost all of my fur on my right arm, and Mum was very very upset about that. She said, "my goodness, what a stupid vet tech, how big does the hole have to be for a simple needle puncture? Its going to take 6 months for Kimi's fur to grow back!"

More updates to come in the next following days.
Stay tuned..

Hey Kimi,
Good to see you're back. You look the business with that backpack! My mum found pictures of you as a puppy on a raw feeding site and wanted to say 'Thank you' to your mum. Thanks to those photos she found it really easy to switch me to raw too when I arrived here at seven weeks old.
My blog is on www.ragamuffinn.co.uk
See you around!

Ma says shes so glad you started blogging again Kimi. She used to adore reading your blog and was so worried something bad has happened to you or your parents.

Look forward to catching up with your news.
