Winter Wonderland

We had two days of snow here in WA. This is Rummy's first real experience with snow. There was enough snow to stick around and we had temperature in the teens in F.

Early in the morning, we woke up to let the chickies out. And at the same time, frolic in the snow when it was still coming down fresh.
Rummy Cub found a chew bone and decided to chomp on it and play "let's hide it".

And while Rummy chomps on his chew thing, I buried my face in the fresh snow, and I loved it.
The snow was drifting slowly down, not making a sound, and it was so serenely beautiful and quiet.
In the early dawn hours, we saw how awesome and beautiful nature could be, and we lived in the moment. Just enjoying this very moment, the stillness of it all.

We found out that the snow gave good cushioning if we fell and rolled around on the ground. So we made good use of the snow, and played rough. We played Bitey face, tumbled, and rolled and ran around, with our tails tucked under because we were so fast.

Wow look at Rummy's awesome teeth.

 Are we playing catch?

In the middle of play, Rummy runs to the chicken coop to see if his chickens are doing fine. He loves his chickens and wanted to make sure they were all safe and sound.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody.

Hugs,
Kimi and Rummy

They both are having so much fun. Rummy got used to the snow really quick we guess. Kimi was showing the right way to play in the snow. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful ret of your day.
